Does your email really work?
Compare your existing email service to EmailThatWorks.net:
Rock-Solid Reliability
Do you rely more on email than the average
"recreational" user does? Then shouldn't your email
service be at least above average?
EmailThatWorks.net has rock-solid reliability,
because we rely on it as much as you do: It simply must
work.
Some providers feel they can afford hours of downtime
every week, and even the outright loss of some
email, because most of their customers won't complain.
When you entrust your data to EmailThatWorks.net,
we treat it with the seriousness it deserves.
Of course we
use technologies like RAID but we also do backups,
and we don't lightly interrupt the service even for a
moment, day or night.
When we must do scheduled
maintenance we notify our users in advance.
You're
relying on us, not just on our servers, so
transparency is part of reliability.
Personal Service
Think back to the last time you had to call on tech
support at your current email provider. Even if they
solved your technical problem, were you really satisfied
at the end, or merely resigned? Did they treat you with
respect, or did they seem a little condescending?
EmailThatWorks.net support is among the best.
If you're quite technical, we won't waste your time with
trivialities and gatekeepers. And if you're not very
technical we can explain things in plain language, yet
go straight to the heart of the matter.
How do we do it? It's not easy, but we know what we're doing, having
done it for a long, long time. We also limit ourselves to supporting only
the service itself, not your computer, or its local network connection.
But more than anything, we
are simply determined to do a better job of this than anyone else: to
give our own customers the support we wanted from other providers over the
years. Based on our customer feedback, it
seems to be working.
Advanced Capabilities
Take advantage of these advanced server features to manage your email:
Given central storage and IMAP, you can set up
server-resident filters to file messages automatically by
content. This doesn't rely on client-side filters, so you can
change email programs easily, and use multiple computers simultaneously
with no adverse interaction.
Send email from laptops and mobile devices without changing
settings, no matter how and where you are connected to the Internet.
SMTP authentication and our alternate TCP port will get around blockages
common in ISPs and wireless access points. Our WAPMail Direct supports
many mobile phones.
Enable our powerful antispam and antivirus
scanning, using a filter to send identified spam to a Junk Mail folder.
We can set up automatic expiry on this or any folder, so
you needn't bother cleaning it out, or even looking at it, but you can
still retrieve the occasional false-positive.
Create aliases for specific purposes, such as
subscribing to Internet mailing lists; or to give a different address to each
of your suppliers so you'll know who is selling your name. With
user subaddressing you can do this merely by creating
mailboxes. Use forwarding, with or without keeping a copy, and autoreply
when you will be away.
Create addresses in your domain for friends or family that will
forward email to their usual mailbox. (This can also use our
antispam and antivirus protection, forwarding only legitimate email.)
As a domain administrator, you get access to things
like detailed mail logs (invaluable for diagnosing delivery questions,
both inbound and outbound),
space-used reports, and domain-wide filters.
Access the server through easy-to-use graphical interfaces
for both Webmail and account- and domain administration; and when you're
ready, we'll even let you use the command-line interface and low-level
server administration protocol.
Set up a domain-wide address book accessible directly by
many email clients with LDAP.
Keep your passwords safe with channel encryption: We support and
encourage access using secured protocols: SSL for IMAP, POP, HTTP, and LDAP;
TLS for SMTP.
